I had a 64 scratch in the winter league competition at Sconser today !!(par 67). Two eagles on a back nine of 31.

Winter handicap down to 5.8. I am now the leader with my best 10 stableford scores total of 394 and I am the lowest handicap in the field. Happy days.

As this is my 64th year, I can almost claim that I scored my age, never thought I’d manage that one.

I’m hitting the ball so much more solidly. Your club face correction and getting the left hand/wrist in the correct position on a better plane is giving me easy length.”

“Fabulous teaching technique for putting, borne out by statistics, after propbably 45 on my last round on the West, this morning 33 Putts for 18 holes and should have been 31. the new irons are also a revelation hittng it on average 30 yards furthern than old Nikes. only managed to score 92 but its going in the right direction, apart from a few very silly shots copuld easily have been an 88 or lower, well done coach!”
